When the cliché was coined that dogs are humanity's best friends, it was a Greyhound they had in mind. Whether your plans involve a run or a rest, a greyhound is up for joining in. Parrotdog dedicated their low carb hazy pale ale to them, and kept it fittingly lean and easy-go-ing, with sparkling citrus hop characters, good balance, and a crisp finish.

An ongoing series of occasional one off releases inspired by the nice ideas captured in Parrotdog's Lyall Bay Brewery. Limited Release 38 is a Hazy IPA brewed with real passionfruit and hopped with tropical hop varieties Strata and Nelson Sauvin, showcasing juicy passionfruit, tropical and slight dank characters on a pale and hazy base beer, with a cleansing passionfruit acidity to finish.

The raptor family includes a surprisingly diverse collection of birds of prey and their kin, and stretches to include some of their fiercer ancestors from the land before time. Pale Ale can feel like a similarly broad category, but this one is very much of the more assertive kind. It's a rare mix of traits but Parrotdog's brewers have taught a similar trick to this Watchdog, a refreshingly non-alcoholic IPA, with a pale malt backbone and lively hop flavours of citrus and stonefruit, but no bite.
